My Life is a Rich Experience

Here's what I did today. I paddled my NEW little boat all over the place. I went into the wind, up current and against the tide (it was going out) for a couple of miles then crossed the river to the MD side and floated and paddled back. Some of the waves were really fun. 

When I took out, a guy insisted on helping me because, he said, I was a "girl in distress". God, how old fashioned. He meant well at least. I was almost rude though. Here I was on my maiden voyage and I did not need help, thank you very much.
